progress in filming

well done guys for filming today. we managed to get the first half of the script filmed well. Thankyou and well done to Theo for being in the film seeing as we couldnt get the actor we had planned on. Ready for finishing the rest of filming with all the props and back up actress just in case. I think filming went really well and we have some really good shots that we can cut together in editing. We did well in getting a variety of different shots again to help with the editing and various cut aways. hopefully the shot list me and Verity did guided us a little bit so as to not waste time but obviously we all had our own say in shots each of us liked :)

This is where i got the idea for cutting between Phil rehearsing in the bathroom/bedroom to his imaginary date & then to getting ready for his real date. The film is called The king of comedy (scorsese & de nero) and is about a delusional man who starts to believe that his fantasies are real, anyway its very good and i recommend it very funny ! Heres a clip anyway:

So things have come along nicely! Theo has done a good first draft of the script, we have three proper actors so we just need to storyboard and then actually film! Which will be done on friday, (fingers crossed!) I feel we could make this a pretty funny film if we actually get it spot on with the script. Nice script though Theo, you have done well! :) Next group meeting wednesday and hopefully by then Chelsea and myself should have started or done the storyboards! See you then guys.

• Dating scenes from films..how do they work and is there a pattern? 500 days of Summer, 50 first dates...i cant really think of any others kos i aint a big fan but yeah u get the jist!
